Researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital, led by Rudolph E. Tanzi, have discovered a new method of studying Alzheimer’s disease and searching for drugs to treat it. They have succeeded in creating ‘Alzheimer’s in a Dish’ — a petri dish with human brain cells that develop the telltale structures of Alzheimer’s disease.
